Come, practice, teach, organise a workshop… at our beautiful studio in Binningen (ca. 10 min from Theater with tram 10 from the center of Basel).
(If you wish to book it for a public concert you should contact us directly, as different rules apply.)
For accessing, you will need to contact us privately.
We have a collection of keyboard instruments available for you, including a luxury Bösendorfer grand piano.
Only people with previous experience with historical instruments can use the harpsichords and the fortepiano. It’s not possible to use the Bösendorfer for contemporary music that involves play in inside the instrument. The Disklavier system can’t be used either without our permission.
Raumnutzungsbedingungen:
-You can’t book the room for concerts unless it’s for private concerts which you are doing for free. If you wish to book the room for a paid concert just contact us directly.
-The two harpsichords and the fortepiano can only be used if you prove experience with historical instruments. If you need to tune the harpsichord and the fortepiano, you can come earlier to do so. Just write to us. If you need to have us tune the instruments we might need to request you an extra fee.
-You aren’t allowed allowed to play contemporary music which involves playing inside the piano or putting artefacts inside.
-Coffee, tea and other drinks can only be enjoyed at the bar at the end of the Atelier, and never be close to the instruments. If you use any glass or cup, you need to
-There is a toilet in the corridor, on the way to the garden. If you use it don’t forget to close the toilet cistern.
-You can’t move the instruments without our permission.
-You can use the room for recording, nevertheless because of the noise you can probably only use it for social media or an audition tape, but not as a professional recording.
-If the landlady or anyone comes because she needs anything or some complaint, you need to call us immediately.
-You aren’t allowed to touch or move valuable objects (portraits, mirrors, piano roll boxes…) without our permission.
Stornobestimmungen:
Mieter können eine Buchung dieses Raumes bis zu 168 Stunden vor Buchungsbeginn kostenfrei stornieren, sofern die Buchung mindestens 168 Stunden vor Buchungsbeginn erfolgt ist. Die Zahlung wird dann zu 100% erstattet. Bis 168 Stunden vor Buchungsbeginn kann der Mieter nicht mehr kostenfrei stornieren. Nachfolgend sind die Stornobestimmungen für diesen Raum noch einmal zusammengefasst:
- Eine Rückerstattung i.H.v. 5%, wenn Mieter seine Buchung dieses Raumes 168 (und bis zu 168) Stunden vor Buchungsbeginn storniert.
- Mieter kann seine Buchung dieses Raumes ab 168 Stunden vor Buchungsbeginn kostenfrei stornieren.
